Headset Walkie Talkies for Spy Games or Paintball
74For business or whatever
Playing spy with a headset walkie talkie is something that just about any kid can get into. There is something about giving kids radios and turning them loose that gives them the feeling of adventure and imagination. More often than not kids have a ball playing with cheap walkie talkies that only transmit a couple of hundred yards at the most. But non the less they have a blast. Since the days of can and string kids have been fascinated with this technology and if you are like me you will do whatever it takes to get your kids outside and having a good time.
As cell phones have added technology and features at a dizzying rate long range walkie talkies have also managed to improve in features and usability. No longer are scratchy sounding large models the norm, but ultra portable feature rich walkie talkies are the norm. There are many models that offer GPS, whether alerts, channel optimization, scrambling and a host of other features. And along with the radios themselves there is also a wide range of products to make them even more functional. Such add ons as throat mics, noise canceling headsets, and lapel mics. Whatever you need for whatever application you need there is a product that can make your job easier.
Most of us have probably outgrown the days of playing spy in the neighborhood, but like many things as boys get bigger so do their toys. Paint ball is a sport that is growing in popularity among the old and the young. It is common ground for adults and kids but what is not common is introducing radio communications to a friendly game of paint ball. If you are competitive as many teams are field ops communications is a highly important part of the game. A headset walkie talkie could be exactly what you need to capture the flag.
Paint ball is by far not the only use for walkie talkies in the modern world. It is just an example of how incredibly functional walkie talkies can be. It also stands as a reminder that walkie talkies don’t just have to be used for work. They work equally well for play and other recreation.
One of the best uses for a long range walkie talkie is to keep in touch with your kids. Parents often frown on giving their school age children cell phones because of the additional expense of another service plan and the responsibility of using and maintaining a cell phone. A hand held walkie talkie can allow you to avoid the persistent nagging about a cell phone. Try giving your child a watch walkie talkie and see how cool they think that is. Kids like to be unique and most kids don’t have a direct line to mom and dad quite like that.
An added benefit of using walkie talkies is that there is no monthly service fee associated with radio communications of this type. They are not dependent on cellular booster towers and they have a longer battery life. What is not to love?
If you have never considered using long range walkie talkies in your home or at your business you should look at how they can save you time and money and boost your productivity. Factor in all of the additions and time saving features of headset walkie talkies and you are in the market to add a competitive advantage to your business.

Great stuff. We have walk talkies when we run camps for kids, and the leaders fight for them. Worse than the kids!
